Changing Missals

St. Catherine’s has asked us to change missals for the church next week, 11/26, before our meeting. Please help our Charter Organization and earn 1 hour of community service for rank advancement. If you are able to help, please meet in the chapel at 6pm.

Volunteer Opportunity

Volunteer Opportunity on
December 8th from 2:00-5:30 pm.
Volunteer at ”The Christmas Shop” at Wake Forest United Methodist Church. I am the Youth Group Counselor in charge so Troop 511 has a special invitation to come help our community! You can also earn service hours if needed. You must sign up with me and come dressed in holiday spirit by wearing red or green and Santa or elf hats are encouraged.

The Christmas shop is a place for children ages 3 through 5th grade to come shop for items to give their parents, grandparents or siblings for Christmas. You will be volunteering as a ELF to help them shop or as a gift wrapper. Parents are welcome to volunteer as gift wrappers.
The Chirstmas Shop takes place Sunday, December 8, in the Familiy Life Center at Wake Forest United Methodists Church ( 903 S Main Street) Youth will arrive at 2pm to help with set-up, and will stay until 5:30pm to help with clean up.

All volunteers are encourage to get into the Christmas spirit and dress up in reds and greens, and santa hats, or something festive.

Redefined Courage

Service Hours

We have an opportunity to help a local nonprofit called Redefined Courage – They are having a gala on September 7th to help raise money to support women with breast cancer. I have copied Nikki Speer on this email, who is the president of this nonprofit.

She is looking for some volunteers to help set up and possibly help set up and walk guests to the tables. 1 hour for each group.

Here is what she needs:

5-7 more kids To help set up tables
4:45-5:45 *wear comfortable clothes

And

4 dressed Nice 5:40-6:40 (they are asking for black dresses or dress pants and a white shirt )

To walk people to tables, help take pics for guests by backdrop, and registration

It is at the Renaissance center in Wake Forest.
